ALCHEMISTS manipulate and control elemental majick, working with the natural forces of fire, water, earth, air, and other elemental energies. Symbolized by the Greek letter Phi, which is often associated with the golden ratio, representing perfect beauty and harmony, which aligns with the Alchemist’s pursuit of elemental balance and transfiguration.
APOTHECARIES specialize in healing majick, utilizing potions, herbs, and magical remedies to heal injuries, diseases, and enhance vitality. Symbolized by the Greek letter Chi, which resembles a cross, a symbol historically linked to health and healing, mirroring the Apothecary’s role in healing and medicine.
ARCANTORS are experts in arcane majick, tapping into celestial, temporal, and pure magical energy to cast spells, enchant objects, and manipulate raw magic forces. Symbolized by the Greek letter Theta, which is used in various mathematical and scientific contexts to denote unknown variables, aligning with the Arcantor’s mastery over the mysterious and profound arcane energies.
CHIMERAS are masters of transmutation majick, skilled at transforming materials, living beings, or even themselves into other forms. Symbolized by the Greek letter Delta, which symbolizes change, especially as it is the scientific symbol for change in variables, appropriate for the Chimera’s ability to undergo and enact transformation.
NYXIANS wield shadow majick, able to manipulate the light to cast darkness, to cast shadows, and blend into or control the shadows around them. A Nyxian has the ability to do illusory majick, much like a Mirager, but the illusions are cast with shadows. Nyxians can travel through shadows, much like teleportation, or even animate shadows. Symbolized by the Greek letter Omega, which signifies great power and the end, symbolizing the Nyxian’s ultimate control over shadows and the metaphoric ‘end’ of light they can bring through darkness.
MIRAGERS are masters of illusory majick, capable of creating realistic illusions, altering perceptions, and manipulating others senses (what they see, hear, feel, taste, etc.). Symbolized by the Greek letter Psi, which is often associated with the psyche and paranormal phenomena, making it a fitting symbol for the Mirager’s ability to manipulate perceptions and create illusions, tapping into and altering the mental and visual realms.
ORACLES possess divinatory majick, allowing them to see into the future, have visions of potential outcomes, or read omens and signs. Telepathy. Telekinesis. Natural Empath. Symbolized by the Greek letter Gamma, which resembles a divining rod, can be seen as a symbol for introspection and receiving wisdom, appropriate for the Oracle’s role in divination and foresight.
APEX Casters are single-class Casters, meaning they exhibit attributes from only one class. Apexes are the second rarest, but those that exist ONLY exhibit attributes from one of the following classes: Alchemist, Chimera, Enigma, or Arcantor.
Apex Class also refers to any hybrid Caster’s primary/strongest class, and will be the class that appears first when a Caster’s Abraxas appears on their thirteenth birthday.
PARADOX Casters are hybrid Casters that exhibit abilities from two Caster classes, capable of mastering both.
Paradox Casters always exhibit abilities from TWO of the same classes that are limited to Apexes (Alchemist, Chimera, Enigma, Arcantor).
TREBLE Casters are hybrids that exhibit abilities from three Caster classes, capable of mastering all three.
They are limited to the following groupings:
TETRARCH Casters are hybrid Casters that exhibit abilities from four Caster classes, capable of mastering all of them.
They are limited to the following groupings:
PENTACLE Casters are hybrid Casters that exhibit abilities from five Caster classes, capable of mastering all of them.
They are limited to the following groupings:
HEXON Casters are hybrid Casters that exhibit abilities from six Caster classes, capable of mastering all of them.
They are limited to the following groupings:
PARAGONS are the rarest of hybrids that exhibits abilities from all other seven Caster classes, capable of mastering all of them.
ABRAXAS, said to be the origin of the supreme magical word “abracadabra” (meaning “harm me not”), is the most common name for the triquetra and circle mark that forms on Casters on their 13th birthday. Also called a Cicatrix, which means “scar” (and acts like a amulet achieved through rites of passage in many non-Caster cultures); also obscurely and lesser known as a psychodithographos (meaning “soul/mind identifying mark”).
THE Abraxas with have slight shading (like the coloring of a tattoo) in the sections correlating with the class(es) of the Caster; the color of the shading of all relevant sections—whether 1, 2, or 10 (only in the case of Paragons)—is determined by their Apex class. Below is the list of classes with their corresponding colors:

IN this example, the Abraxas indicates that the Caster is a Tetrarch (exhibiting abilities of 4 classes), with their Apex class being Arcantor, and their other three classes being Alchemist, Chimera, and Enigma
IN this example, the Abraxas indicates that the Caster is a Pentacle (exhibiting abilities of 5 classes), with their Apex class being Alchemist, and their other four classes being Arcantor, Chimera, Enigma, and Psion.
IN this example, the Abraxas indicates that the Caster is a Paragon (exhibiting abilities of all 7 classes), with their Apex class being Chimera.
